BEng student at Ontario Tech University specializing in robotics, thermodynamics, and sustainable design. Building mechanical systems through CAD, FEA, and hands-on prototyping.
My name is Soham, and I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering & Co-op at Ontario Tech University. My passion lives at the intersection of precision design and real-world impact.
Built an autonomous rope-climbing gondola that carries six passengers up a 30° incline, makes timed intermediate stops, and returns on its own — using a dual-wheel friction drive and Arduino IR control.
Designed a fully mechanical dual-axis ankle-foot prosthesis enabling natural gait on uneven terrain — without electronics. Validated through FEA and physical prototyping.
Engineered a fully parametric scissor lift mechanism in SolidWorks with detailed assembly, motion analysis, and structural validation for industrial lifting applications.
I'm always open to new opportunities — internships, co-op positions, or exciting engineering projects. Reach out anytime.
